Who we support

For adults, older people and those who care for them

Life changes at every age. People come to us when they are adjusting to retirement or a new diagnosis, managing grief, caring for someone they love, recovering from illness, or wanting to stay independent and connected at home.

  • Adults with anxiety, low mood, stress or grief
  • Older people wanting to stay safe and independent at home
  • People living with dementia, and their families
  • Adults with disability, including NDIS participants
  • Carers and family members who need support of their own

Questions

Common questions

Who do you work with?

Adults of all ages, older people, and the family members and carers who support them. Our sister practice at wonderfulmind.com.au supports children and young people.

Do I need a referral?

Not for counselling, occupational therapy, speech pathology, music or art therapy. For Medicare-rebated psychology you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.

Can I use my Support at Home funding?

Yes. Occupational therapy is a clinical support under Support at Home. Music and art therapy can be included where they are part of your care plan. How Support at Home works.

Where are sessions held?

At our Doreen and Craigieburn clinics, in your home where suitable, and by telehealth for many services.
